'Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs). International jurisdiction, conflict of laws, *lex cryptographicä and Blockchain Arbitration': The thesis addresses the challenges of conflict of laws and international jurisdiction in connection with the pseudonymity of DAO members and the decentralization of DAOs. Two potential solutions are considered: the law of the blockchain's code and the practices of its network participants (so-called lex cryptographica), and blockchain-internal dispute resolution through Blockchain Arbitration procedures.

Über die Urheberinnen:

Maximilian Steiner studierte von 2017-2023 Rechtswissenschaften an der Europa-Universität Viadrina und promovierte dort zum Thema Dezentraler Autonomer Organisationen. Parallel absolvierte er ein Wirtschaftsrechts-Masterstudium an der IU Internationale Hochschule. Seit November 2024 ist er Rechtsreferendar am Brandenburgischen Oberlandesgericht.
